Microsoft Publisher 2007 - Module 1
This one day course aims to increase your productivity by providing the skills and knowledge necessary to generate publications for printing on a local printer, a commercial printer or for publishing on the web.
This course has been primarily designed for the non-technical user who needs to use MS Publisher 2007 for preparing newsletters, flyers, brochures and other business publications.
This course is designed for participants with little or no knowledge of the software. It is assumed that participants have basic word processing skills and a working knowledge of Windows.
At the completion of this course participants will be able to:
- start, navigate and generally work with Microsoft Publisher
- understand concepts essential to the use of Publisher
- work with objects and frames in a publication
- work with text in a publication
- enhance the text in a publication
- perform a mail merge in Microsoft Publisher
- create drawings

Funding for the Strategic Skills Program (SSP), for both full and part qualifications has been released to State Training Services Regional Centres (STSRC) to enable purchasing under the SSP to commence for 2011. For 2011-2012 PPP has been incorporated into the Strategic Skills Program (SSP).
