Miscrosoft Project 2007 - Fundamentals
The aim of this course is to provide the skills and knowledge necessary to create and manage projects using Microsoft Project 2007. It covers the important aspects of dealing with project tasks and resources.
This course is intended for people who need to know how to effectively use Microsoft Project to create and manage projects. Some project management is also covered in this course.
This course is designed for participants with little or no knowledge of Microsoft Project. General computing skills and an understanding of the Windows operating system are required.
At the completion of this course participants will be able to:
- start Microsoft Project and work with it's key screen features
- create a new project file
- understand key project management concepts
- enter and work with tasks in a project
- enter and work with durations for tasks
- enter and work with task relationships
- create and work with resource pools
- enter a wide range of costs into a project
- set constraints and deadlines in a project
