In this course we cover some basic MS Outlook fundamentals, concepts, and tips on how to use Outlook to meet your e-mail needs and keep track of your contact information.

Who Should Attend: 

This Introduction to MS Outlook has been primarily designed for the non-technical user who needs to use Outlook in their work environment.

Course Pre-requisites: 

Those attending the course are expected to be familiar with the mouse, the keyboard, starting MS Windows and applications. No knowledge of Outlook is required.

Course Objectives: 

At the completion of this course participants will be able to:

  • start Outlook 2003 and navigate around the various features
  • create and send e-mail messages
  • receive e-mails into your Inbox
  • work with the calendar feature in Outlook 2003
  • schedule appointments and events in your calendar
  • add, edit and delete contacts and contact details
  • create a to do list using the Tasks feature of Outlook
  • access and use the help system and work safely with your computer
