This course focuses on basic document production using Microsoft Word. It gives you a sound understanding of how documents are created, formatted and printed.
Microsoft Word 2003 - Level 2
The skills and knowledge covered in this course are sufficient to create real-world documents including letters, memos, faxes, basic flyers, newsletters and the like. It concentrates on a number of document enhancement features such as tables, pictures and drawings, and uses some of the automation and style features to speed up productivity.
Microsoft Word 2003 - Level 3
The skills and knowledge covered in this course will allow you to create longer documents, automate many operations in Word, perform advanced merges, outline a document and use WordArt.
Microsoft Word 2007 - Level 1
This course focuses on basic document production using Microsoft Word 2007 and is designed to give the learner a sound understanding of how documents are created, formatted, and printed. The skills and knowledge covered on this course are sufficient to create real-world documents including letters, memos, faxes, basic flyers, basic newsletters and the like.
Microsoft Word 2007 - Level 2
This course extends the learners basic skills and knowledge of Microsoft Word 2007 and helps them create more intricate and varied documents. Existing skills and knowledge are enhanced by covering more advanced aspects of key topics such as formatting, tables, and lists, and new features such as merging, envelopes, sections, clip art and graphics are introduced.

Funding for the Strategic Skills Program (SSP), for both full and part qualifications has been released to State Training Services Regional Centres (STSRC) to enable purchasing under the SSP to commence for 2011. For 2011-2012 PPP has been incorporated into the Strategic Skills Program (SSP).
