Train the Trainer
This three day course covers the essential training techniques necessary to train others, with an emphasis on the practical application of key training principles.
The course will benefit all persons involved directly or indirectly in developing, preparing and presenting short training sessions. It covers the Vocational Education Environment in Australia, and is underpinned by the competency based training and assessment system.
There are no prerequisite requirements for individual units of competency. However, it would be anticipated that the student would have access to a workplace in which to conduct training and assessment and have sound literacy and computing skills.
Participants achieving this qualification will develop skills and knowledge in;
- Delivering and facilitating learning
- Identify individual and group learning facilitation requirements

- TAADEL301C - Provide training through instruction and demonstration of work skills
- TAADEL401B - Plan and organise group-based delivery
- TAADEL402B - Facilitate group-based learning
- TAADEL403B - Facilitate individual learning
- TAADEL404B - Facilitate work-based learning
To be awarded this Statement of Attainment, the student must successfully complete 5 units of competency.
Upon successful completion of this course students will receive a Statement of Attainment in TAA40104 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (Train the Trainer).
This Statement of Attainment is recognised nationally under the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF).
After achieving this Statement of Attainment, students may undertake the remaining units in the qualification to achieve TAA40104 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
A formal process for recognising skills and knowledge, RPL takes into account previous studies you may have completed as well as life and work experiences. You may be granted credits or exemptions for some units in this course.
