Creating a Learning Environment
This one day course covers the Vocational Education Environment (VET) in Australia, and is underpinned by the competency based training and assessment system. You will gain skills in using training packages, working effectively in vocational training and promoting an inclusive and safe learning environment.
The course provides an opportunity for current trainers and assessors who hold the BSZ40198 to partially upgrade their qualification. For future trainers, this course is the first step to gaining the knowledge and skills, as well as the qualification, towards becoming an accredited vocational trainer.
There are no prerequisite requirements for individual units of competency. However, it would be anticipated that the student would have access to a workplace in which to conduct training and assessment and have sound literacy and computing skills.
