BSB51107 Diploma of Management
This qualification reflects the role of individuals who are engaged to manage the work of others or to add value to or review management practices. Their role may be in any industry or organisational setting. Typically people in these roles will have considerable experience in their respective industries or vocational areas and couple an informed perspective of the specific work requirements with their managerial approaches. This qualification requires a sound theoretical knowledge base and management competencies to plan, carry out and evaluate own work and/or the work of a team. All units should be selected to reflect the work of the student or future work needs to further develop their management skills.
There are no prerequisite requirements for individual units of competency.
Participants achieving this qualification will develop skills and knowledge in;

- Developing approaches to support the attraction, retention and development of staff from different generational groups
- Adding value to and reviewing management practices
- Managing and improving your personal effectiveness and own development

- BSBWOR501A - Manage personal work priorities and professional development
To be awarded this qualification, the student must successfully complete 8 units of competency, 5 Core units and 3 Elective units.
Upon successful completion of this course students will receive a BSB51107 Diploma of Management.
This qualification is recognised nationally under the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF).
After achieving the BSB51107 Diploma of Management, students may undertake the BSB60407 Advanced Diploma of Management, or a range of other Advanced Diploma qualifications
A formal process for recognising skills and knowledge, RPL takes into account previous studies you may have completed as well as life and work experiences. You may be granted credits or exemptions for some units in this course.
