BSB31207 Certificate III in Frontline Management

This qualification reflects the role of individuals who provide supervision in a wide range of organisational and industry contexts.  They are likely to have existing technical skills in a broad range of vocations or professions, but require some training in the basics of supervision.  They would typically report to a supervisor or team leader.

At this level frontline managers provide basic leadership and guidance to small groups of others and have limited responsibility for the effective functioning and performance of a unit and its outcomes.

Prerequisites: 

There are no prerequisite requirements for individual units of competency.

  • BSBCUS301A - Deliver and monitor a service to customers
  • BSBPMG510A - Manage projects
Qualification Rules: 

To be awarded this qualification, the student must successfully complete 6 units of competency, 4 Core units, and 2 Elective units.

Accreditation and Articulation: 

Upon successful completion of this course students will receive a BSB31207 Certificate III in Frontline Management.

This qualification is recognised nationally under the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF).

Pathways from the Qualification: 

After achieving the BSB31207 Certificate III in Frontline Management, students may undertake the BSB40807 Certificate IV in Frontline Management or a range of other Certificate IV qualifications.

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL): 

A formal process for recognising skills and knowledge, RPL takes into account previous studies you may have completed as well as life and work experiences. You may be granted credits or exemptions for some units in this course.
