BSB40507 Certificate IV in Business Administration

This qualification reflects the role of individuals who use well-developed administrative skills and a broad knowledge base in a wide variety of administrative contexts.  They apply solutions to a defined range of unpredictable problems and analyse and evaluate information from a variety of sources.  They may provide leadership and guidance to others with some limited responsibility for the output of others.

Prerequisites: 

There are no prerequisite requirements for individual units of competency.

  • BSBCUS402A - Address customer needs
  • BSBADM409A - Coordinate business resources
  • BSBFIA402A - Report on financial activity
  • BSBMKG413A - Promote products and services
Qualification Rules: 

To be awarded this qualification, the student must successfully complete 10 units of competency, 5 Administration units, and 5 Elective units.

Accreditation and Articulation: 

Upon successful completion of this course students will receive a BSB40507 Certificate IV in Business Administration.

This qualification is recognised nationally under the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF).

Pathways from the Qualification: 

After achieving the BSB40507 Certificate IV in Business Administration, students may undertake the BSB50407 Diploma in Business Administration or a range of other Diploma qualifications.

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL): 

A formal process for recognising skills and knowledge, RPL takes into account previous studies you may have completed as well as life and work experiences. You may be granted credits or exemptions for some units in this course.
